For a warm white light, the LEDs shine with a colour temperature of around 2,700 to 3,300 Kelvin. Neutral white light (3,300 to 5,300 Kelvin) is ideal for quiet reading evenings, providing balanced lighting for most reading environments. Cool white light in the range of 5,300 to 6,500 Kelvin, on the other hand, promotes concentration and is particularly suitable for focussed working and reading.

The light intensity - expressed in lumens - should be high enough not to strain the eyes.
